Live chat – get involved!

There have been four eggcellent live chat’s as part of the event so far, and we’re planning to do more. We have another one booked today (Monday 27th April) at 8pm (BST) and it would be great if you could come in and take part. Here’s a little peak at a reoccurring theme, from the last live chat.. mrgsimpson: Is there a best breakfast students can have that might help them be good for short term memory? Week one – learning lots

That was week one of four. We had 42 questions sent through for answering on a wide range of subjects: Nature vs Nurture and what impact can teachers have? Asking for evidence on growth mindset attracted a lively discussion and the influence of using screens on the brain is never far away. What do you think of the answers given? Please use the comments on each question to probe more and to ask for more information if you want it. Be bold. On Wednesday we had a lively chat session that lasted a full hour. Our next is at 8pm on Monday evening. Just log in and go to learning.iasuk.ddev.site/talk Next week sees a new group of five scientists take centre stage. Keep the questions coming. Iroise Dumontheil Lecturer, Birkbeck, University of London “I am mostly interested in the prefrontal cortex, which supports aspects of higher cognition, in particular cognitive … Continue reading
