What did you want to be after you left school?
I didn’t know, was thinking about teaching (come from a family of teachers)

Me and my work
I am keen to find out more about how language impacts on literacy learning and how once you can read, this feeds back into language learning
Typical day
In my role I juggle research (e.g., planning studies, analysis, writing), teaching (lectures, marking, student research supervision) and what we call admin (e.g., leadership in the department, I support others to engage with non-academic stakeholders)
