What methods do you use?
I’m an experimental psychologist, so I mostly conduct lab-based research. I’ve also conducted longitudinal studies on games and screen time.
Who was your favourite teacher?
This is a tough question because I had so many good ones. Mr Smith, my Maths teacher, probably wouldn’t be considered to be an obvious choice – he was very grumpy. But I fell ill in my final A-level year, and he took considerable extra time with me after I returned to make sure I got back on track. I will always appreciate that.
I’m currently writing a book about video games, so that’s taking up most of my time at the moment!
