- What did you want to be after you left school?
  
  A speech and language therapist

  Who is your favourite singer or band?

  What's your favourite food?

  What topics do you work on?
  
  I work on different aspects of child language development including speech perception, the role that sleep plays, and the language of children with Developmental Language Disorder and Autism.
  
  What methods do you use?
  
  I use behavioural techniques alongside electroencephalography (EEG).
  
  Who was your favourite teacher?
  
  It’s a close run thing, but my favourite was probably my A-level history teacher Mr Knight; he was a passionate and kind teacher with excellent hair.
  
  Typical day
  
  My typical day is probably half in the office, running analyses and writing up research and half out and about testing children. I’m really lucky in my work and I get to spend a lot of time with children and families who are kind and interested enough to be involved in our studies.
